Living in San Diego is a huge adjustment for me. I was even more surprised when the electrician San Diego city council referred me to was only in his mid twenties. When he came to my door I was a little surprised and not sure he was actually the electrician until he showed me his employee identification. It was not the fact that I thought he was not being truthful, it was more along the lines of that he looked so young to be in his profession.
And not just that, but to be so knowledgeable and ready to tackle the job I had set for him impressed me. He came in and went right to work. I had several jobs planned out for him and within a few hours they were gone. And at the end of it all I tried to tip him and he refused it. Saying he only works for his paycheck.
