How To Get Better Fuel Mileage From Your Tires

Who doesn’t want to save money on gas these days? I know I sure do, and your car tires might help you do just that. And this can apply to cheap tires or even performance tires. The first tip is to keep your tires properly inflated at all times. If you have tires that are 10 pounds low, your fuel mileage is reduced by 6% or more.

Another good way to increase your fuel mileage is to reduce the weight of your car or truck. What I mean by that is if you have a trunk full of heavy items, or a pickup full of sand, tools and other items, it makes your engine work harder. The result is that you burn more fuel.

These are just a couple of quick tips to get a little more mileage out of every tank of gas. Not to mention that cleaning out your vehicle is never a bad thing either.
